PRESS RELEASE - LEVEL 3 - COVID-19 BUSINESS OPERATIONS INTERPRETATION

PRESS RELEASE - LEVEL 3 - COVID-19 BUSINESS OPERATIONS INTERPRETATION

The SAIA Chairperson

Dear Members,

On Thursday 28th of May, The board of SAIA met online to discuss the recent announcement of the country moving to Alert Level 3 as stipulated by the National Command Council. The board deliberated over the changes that Level 3 meant to operating businesses compared to Level 4 and I am pleased to say that the board overwhelmingly agreed that we believe that under Level 3 guidelines, the auction industry could open for business and operate.

On that basis we give our members the blessing to return to work and start doing what we know best, that is providing both our buyers and sellers with the business support that they need to run their businesses successfully.

See the full press release attached for more information.

Your's Faithfully,

John Cowing

SAIA Chairperson
