Tshenolo Nelson Tshukutswane - Boitshenolo Auctioneers & Agricultural Farming
What’s better than a love for something instilled and encouraged by a parent? Tshenolo Nelson Tshukutswane of Boitshenolo Auctioneers & Agricultural Farming had his late father accompany him to livestock auctions as a young boy, and thus began the interest and love for the Auctioneering Industry.
Tshenolo took this love one step further, being inspired by it to start his own Auctioneering company in 2007. “I developed the love of Auctioneering when I was still a young boy. My late father used to go with me to the Livestock auctions,” Tshenolo stated. And it’s a love affair that has been going strong for 15 years.
Focusing on Mining & Construction, Catering, Livestock and Vehicles, Tshenolo says his journey in the Industry has been fantastic so far. “My favourite part of being an Auctioneers is being in the middle of the two parties – the seller and the buyer,” he said. The downside, which is sure to be something that most people in this Industry face, is working with buyers who do not want to pay their accounts.
Operating primarily in the North-West Province, Gauteng, Northern Cape and Mpumalanga, Boitshenolo Auctioneers & Agricultural Farming also makes sure they are taking care of the community and those around them. As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility, they offer services at discounted rates or free of charge to Churches and Non-Profit Organisations. They also help organisations to raise funds by selling food, water, soft drinks and hot drinks at their auctions.
Tshenolo says that his biggest mentor and inspiration has been Ubique Auctioneers and that the company’s biggest accomplishment thus far has been purchasing their own property.
Boitshenolo Auctioneers & Agricultural Farming has had many fantastic projects over the last 15 years. They have worked with the Department of Community Safety & Transport Management in the North West Provincial Government, the Gamagara Local Municipality, North West University, the City of Ekurhuleni as well as the Department of Rural, Environment and Agricultural Development in the North West Provincial Government. The biggest proceeds: bringing in a whopping R17.5 million rand to the Department of Community Safety & Transport Management in the North West Provincial Government.
Tshenolo is looking forward to further expanding his company, and we wish him only the best as his company expands and grows. We are proud to have Tshenolo and Boitshenolo Auctioneers & Agricultural Farming as a member of SAIA!
