Glory Mkhonza - GS Consulting

Glory Mkhonza has only been in the industry for three years, but boy is she making waves! Not only is she an accredited auctioneer and owner of GS Consulting Properties, but she is also a board member of SAIA.

Glory first got involved in the auctioneering industry when she was dealing with properties sales, especially bank repossession properties. This was while she was working on the My Roof platform. Once she had a taste of auctioneering, she was inspired to start her own auctioneering business.

Noting My Roof and the National Secretary as her mentors along the way, Glory also credits SAIA for guiding her through the process of becoming an auctioneer and getting accredited.

Being involved in property, livestock, catering, office furniture and other movables, Glory says her favourite part of auctioneering is serving and satisfying the needs of the client, for less. GS Consulting Properties operates primarily in Mpumalanga, the Nelspruit area.

Glory says that she has plans to expand her company, but that one of the challenges she has faced so far is reaching the stage of collaborating with the most experienced and reputable auctioneering companies. Their biggest accomplishment has been the successful disposal of assets for clients.

Glory has only been on the board for a few months after being voted in at our AGM in May, but so far, she has made a big impact on those who work alongside her. We look forward to building a stronger and deeper relationship with her and her company.
